A misty Dutch morning from the train.
2007 1

You have found our 2007 Cycle touring pages.

The season started for us in late March. We have now had several evenings away, and did most of the NSCR in the Netherlands in four days over Easter. Report is coming soon. We have also done a three day trip on hired recumbent tricycles and a short and longer trip on our Bromptons. The big trip of the summer, the Swedish NSCR, Rallarvegen from Haugestøl to Flåm and a visit to the Nigardsbreen and Jostedal was wonderful if a little on the damp side.

We are planning some more evenings away before the year is out, and maybe a couple of days between Christmas and New Year. That is if we can find campsites that open in that period.

The layout of the site is a little different as I hoped to document our shorter trips this year and not just the long summer one. There are lots of nice places to visit near to Utrecht, and further afield in the Netherlands. So the idea is to give people some more information about cycletouring in the country we live in.

We have some changes to equipment and this information is now under the newly re-organised Equipment page. Thus this stays as a separate section, and any extras (such as picture only galleries and panoramic views) will be in the travelogue sections for each trip.
