We are moving to Norway.
Well that is the plan and this is the blog. The blog contains our experiences expressed in stories and poems and charts our progress towards the goal of living in Norway. We'd hoped to be able to move in 2009 but things haven't quite gone the way we wanted. Maybe 2010 will see our plans realised.
The van
We've had a rusty old VW camper for years. It was bought new by my father in 1971 and much abused before I got my hands on it. The rest since then has been my responsibility.The last few it has sat in the garage rusting waiting for me to find the inclination to fix it. The bottom twenty centimetres are crumbly, my hope is that there is enough metal in the main chassis members to make the project worthwhile. I should really have started with the most worrying areas but decided to begin at the back. Once this is done the sills and jacking points cannot be ignored.
The reason I have started fixing up the van now is so we can take it to Norway. The aim of the blog is to publish a few pictures each day I do something to the van.
